Lucozade says YES to Crystal Palace

Lucozade makes a big impact at the London Athletics Grand Prix at Crystal Palace by tethering their YES campaign balloon right behind the stadium on both days. Gaining massive public views, TV coverage and even comments on twitter!

The balloon is owned and operated by Airship & Balloon Company for Lucozade and rather than having a traditional wicker basket, simply has a seat on which the pilot sits - giving the balloon that sleek, athletic look perfect for a brand like Lucozade.

The balloon was tethering throughout both days of the world class athletics event to ensure that Lucozade recieved maximum brand exposure as the public arrived and departed the event.

On the first day, the balloon was inflated before the public gates opened in the afternoon and was kept inflated untill after the public had gone home when the athletics finished at around 10.30pm. This meant that the balloon not only looked splendid in the afternoon sun, but also stole the show as it became a giant lightbulb, glowing everytime the pilot turned the burner on.

Saturday proved just as successfull with the balloon tethered once again just behind the stadium in full view of the public as they both arrived at left the stadium, as well as, through out the day on the national TV coverage on BBC 1. We have put the footage on the balloon on BBC 1 on our TV clipingss page which can be accessed here.

Over all the event was a complete success, with near perfect weather and brilliant exposure results for the client. We're already looking forward to the next job.
