BBC Country Tracks

On Saturday morning at the 2009 Bristol International Balloon Fiesta, we flew a BBC film crew and presenter Ben Fogle. We took off at sun rise from the Golf Course at Ashton Court and climbed to 4,000' to see Bristol, the Avon and all three suspension bridges - oh! and 100 balloons taking part in the Mass Ascent. We then dropped down to 100 feet, still within Ashton Court, to film the balloon spectacle and the wildlife within the park.

Ben and the team had a great time, with Ben commenting on camera "This is my first time up in a balloon - how lucky am I?". We landed at the old airport at Hengrove.
